UNBECOMING WITH REVATI

Today, we have come far from where we began, yet somewhere along the way, we have lost sight of who we truly are.

We spend our lives performing roles assigned to us – by family, friends, workplaces, society, and even by our own desire to belong, achieve, and become something.

We are constantly shaping ourselves to fit expectations that were never truly ours.

And when did style begin to follow the same path? When did style become a performance? A competition? A means to impress rather than express?

Revati invites you to set that burden down.

We have three activities here, journal and reflection prompts, that will help you to unburden and unbecome.

Activity 1: Role Undoing

Explore the roles you carry and release what feels heavy

Activity 2: Conversations with Self

Luna & Sol guided reflections for deeper self-awareness

Activity 3: Unbecoming through Style

Reconnect with your authentic expression through clothing

Note :- We give reflective journal prompts for self reflection. We don't take any data inputs through our website.

Step 1: Which role are you feeling heavy about these days?

Mother

Daughter

Professional

Caregiver

Creator

I don't know anymore

Step 2: Journal and release using the following questions

In the process of becoming the role, is the role becoming you?

Do you feel the need to be liked and appreciated? How much of your life is being spent on the need for validation? And whose validation?

When was the last time you felt fully at ease?

If no one was watching, what would you choose today?

Step 3: Remind yourself of the following

You have been carrying labels too long, and your own Self seems forgotten.

Beneath the striving, there is a quieter version of you.

She does not need to earn her worth.

She simply needs space to return to herself.

Step 4: A Ritual (Choose any one)

Set a ritual this week, do any one, everyday:

Take a 5-minute walk without your phone.

Drink tea in silence.

Write down one expectation you are ready to release.

Say no to one thing this week.

Step 1: Which area would you like to reflect in?

Choose one:

Reflections on Authenticity (The Integration)
Fears & Suppressed Emotions (The Vault)
Childhood & The Inner Child (The Roots)
Projections & Relationships (The Mirror)

Step 2: Projections & Relationships (The Mirror)

Use these prompts to journal them out:

What do you tend to judge most harshly in others? (This is often a reflection of your own denied traits).

When you feel irrational jealousy, what is that person doing or being that you secretly wish you could do or be?

Think of someone you find 'too much' (too loud, too emotional, etc.). How do you restrict that same quality in yourself?

Step 2: Childhood & The Inner Child (The Roots)

Use these prompts to journal them out:

What part of your personality did you 'kill off' to be accepted by your family or peers?

Which of your parents' traits did you promise yourself you would never 'be like,' and how are you subtly mimicking them now?

What did you have to do as a child to feel safe or loved? Does that behavior still serve you today?

Step 2: Fears & Suppressed Emotions (The Vault)

Use these prompts to journal them out:

What is the one secret you fear would make you 'unlovable' if it were known?

When you are in a bad mood, what is the 'voice' in your head saying? Is it your voice, or someone else's?

What is your 'golden shadow'? (The positive traits like creativity or power that you're too afraid to claim as your own).

Step 2: Reflections on Authenticity (The Integration)

Use these prompts to journal them out:

In what areas of your life are you currently settling for 'fine' because you're afraid of the risk of 'great'?

If you stopped caring about what anyone thought of you today, what is the first thing you would change about your life?

Step 1: What are you dressing for today?

Comfort

Confidence

Rest

Celebration

I don't know anymore

Step 2: Reflection Prompts

How did you like dressing up when you were a kid?

If clothing was not about impressing anyone, how would you choose to dress today?

Which pieces in your wardrobe feel most like you?

Which colour do you keep heading toward?

What do you wear because you love it, and what do you wear because it is expected?

Step 3: Remind yourself of the following

Personal style is remembering and expressing who you are.

Thank you for spending this time with yourself.

Come back whenever life feels too loud.
The door to unbecoming is always open.
